The PSP 3000 originally released on the 17th October 2008 in black
only. Three more colours were released on 6th March 2009. The 3
new colours available are Radiant Red, Pearl White and Mystic Silver.

Firstly lets take a look at the pearl white
PSP 3000. This coloured PSP is probably aimed more at the mature
gamers who are going to use there PSP for more than just playing
games. This type of gamer is going to want to use there PSP for
music, videos, connecting to the internet and most other funcions
a PSP allows you to do. The reason this feels like its aimed at
the more mature gamers is because of its pearl white finish. This
finish has been seen before on Apple's well known iPod it has sleak
and stylish look to it and just gives of an all round professional
feel.

Next were going to look at the Radiant Red
PSP 3000. This choice of colour is probably going to be populated
mainly by the younger generation of gamers. This colour will be
chosen more or less by children who are not really interested in
holdin photos or other sorts of media. All they really want to do
is crack open the "Ratchet and Clank" and have a good
time enjoying the games available.Children aged 8 - 12 will love
this colour as it is more fun and "colourfull".

Finally we have the Mystic Silver PSP 3000.
This PSP is more of a neutral colour and doesnt really have a targeted
crowd. It will appeal to both older and younger generations and
will serve the same purpose as the black PSP 3000. Be it games,
videos, photo's etc. The Mystic silver PSP 3000 has that neutral
feeling that comes with the colour.
