You
may have heard about the annoucement of SenseMe when the PSP Go
was announced and you might have assumed that this new PSP music
application was exclusive to the PSP Go. Well it's not, SenseMe
channels will work on any PSP, you just have to download the right
updates..
What is SenseMe channels?
Simply put, SenseMe channels is a PSP application that enables
you to listen to music on your PSP. The application works in conjunction
with the PSP MediaGo
application, to categorise music into 12 different channels.
Each channel has its own genre/mood, the idea is that instead of
picking individual music tracks to listen to, you choose a channel
that suits your mood or time of day.
MediaGo and SenseMe can be directly compared to Apple's
iTunes and Apple's Genius. MediaGo is like iTunes, it runs on
your PC and is used to download and store music before transferring
it to your music device, in this case it's a PSP, not an iPod. SenseMe
is also very similar to Apple's Genius in the way that it categorises
music for you.
Installing SenseMe channels on a PSP
