PSP Minis
A
while ago now when the PSP Go was released, Sony outlined their
plans to release mini games on the PlayStation Network. Minis are
small games and applications that are under 100mb in size and are
only available through the PlayStation network, these games are
not sold in stores. PSP Minis will also be cheaper than ordinary
PSP games because of their size. When the PSP Go was released there
were 13 PSP Minis available to download off the PlayStation Network,
but on the 16th October 2009, Sony updated the store and released
3 new additions to the minis collection. There are 3 new games available:
Sudoku, Mahjongg Artifacts chapter 2 and finally Yummy Yummy cooking
Jam.
The New Games
Heres just a little information about the new games that have been
released this week.
Sudoku
Most people are familiar with Sudoku, it is a number puzzle game
which offers lots of mind boggling puzzles that will get you thinking.
The idea of the game is to get the number into the correct square.
There are 9 grids that make up a square 3 by 3, in each grid is
9 quares again 3 by 3. The aim is to have the numbers 1-9 in in
the 9 squares of one grid, Every grid must be filled and the number
cannot be repeated more than once in the same grid or on the same
line vertically or horizontally across 3 grids.
Mahjongg Tiles Chapter 2
Majhongg Tiles Chapter 2 is another traditional game ported to
the PSP. In the game you are required to match tiles. This new version
offers a few new game modes including Classic mode, Endless mode,
five tile sets, and groundbreaking power ups.

PSP Minis - the future?
Hopefully Sony will update their PSN with new PSP Minis each week,
as Microsoft does every wednesday with Xbox Live. There's rumoured
