Monster Hanna Freedom Unite is the biggest selling games in Japan,
not only on PSP but across all game platforms. It has already been
on release in Japan for over a year and has sold over 2 million
copies.
Monster Hunter Bundles
Although Monster Hunter Freedom Unite was released over a year
ago in Japan, Capcom are still marketing the game. They've released
2 new branded bundles containing either a Radiant Red or Vibrant
Blue PSP 3000 plus a copy of the game. These packages also contain
a Monster Hunter branded carrycase and Monster Hunter stickers /
skins.
With the PSP Go on the horizon giving the opportunity to download
games and the fact that over 2 million copies have already been
sold, we're not entirely sure how well these bundles are going to
sell. For starters if people are thinking about nuying a PSP Go
in October, they will not want to be buying UMD games as they will
be of no use when the PSP Go arrives. However, these are very good
bundles for those who don't have a PSP and are thinking of buying
one and are not sold on the new PSP Go. PSP 1000 / 2000 owners could
also be interested if they wanted to trade up to a PSP 3000 with
the brighter, more vivid screen.
Monster Hunter Bundles Price
So the price of the PSP 3000 in the UK is around £135 on
its own and the price of these bundles is 21,000 Yen each which
in Pounds translates to about £133, this is almost exactly
the price of our own UK Monster Hunter bundles.
The UK Monster Hunter bundles are only available in silver at present
and these bundles are only available in Japan, but who knows we
may see them in the UK one day. We already have a vibrant
Blue PSP available in the UK.
